Formed in 1979, galglass is based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, and has over 27,000 square feet of
production facilities on a site of 4.2 acres.
Operating on the international stage, the company is a net exporter, with customers in both Eastern and Western
Europe, Australasia, Benelux, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and the Far East. Nevertheless, our commitment to the
home market is strong, and we continue to serve all of the Water Authorities in the UK, as well as UK main contractors
galglass is approved to ISO 9001, and works stringently to these standards. In addition, the company holds approvals
from the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), Factory Mutual Research Council, and the Water Research Council -
guaranteeing our products international approval. Wherever national or international quality assurance standards apply,
galglass actively seeks accreditation.
