Galvanised mild steel with an internal bitumen
coat offers an economical solution for the storage
of water and other non-aggressive materials.
With the addition of a butyl liner, this inexpensive
tank offers a high resistance to ph level chemicals,
sludge, effluent and dirty water.
Available in a range of sizes, the galvanised mild
steel tank shell can be externally painted, if
required, in a choice of colours.

galglass holds approvals from the Loss
Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), the Factory
Mutual (FM) and Water Research Council (WRC)
accreditation bodies, allowing us to offer the full
range of sprinkler system holding tanks.
The tanks consist of galvanised mild steel panels,
constructed using high tensile nuts, bolts and
washers. The internal face of the constructed unit is then brush-roller painted with black
bitumen paint to BS 3416 1991 Type 2.
The shell roof comprises of external plasticol coated, profiled roof sheeting supported on
mild steel purlins, to BS 10142 : 1991, and is designed in accordance with CP3
Chapter V : 1972.
The tanks are fitted with all the connections and fittings, in line with the requirements
specified by the approval bodies.
